The Zeta Gamma Chapter of Kappa Delta was chartered on the University of Arkansas 's campus on April 30, 1989. Our chapter continues to strive for excellence on the U of A's campus as well as in our community and Nationally.
Zeta Gamma Chapter began the 2016 school year with Recruitment, excited and anxious to meet our soon to be sisters. We happily approached Bid Day, selecting 150 wonderful women to become our sisters. Each of these women represents the epitome of a Kappa Delta sister and has enhanced our chapter in countless ways.
Our Chapter also strives to maintain excellence on campus. Kappa Delta has members serving in Leadership Walton, the Food Pantry, the Volunteer Action Committee, and many Student Ambassadors. Kappa Deltas hold many Student Government positions, including class officers, senators, and cabinet members.
Our chapter volunteers many service hours for the community of Fayetteville. Our largest philanthropy event is our annual Shamrock Paint Dodgeball Tournament and Block Party. This past March, we raised over $30,000 for the Children's Safety Center in Springdale and Prevent Child Abuse America with the help of the campus and community.
